I started at Stafford in 2015 as a Veterinary Care Assistant, and after completing this in 2016 I started my first year of student training to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse. My background is in the healthcare service, where I helped and supported people for many years, but have always wanted to work with animals. I have five miniature Dachshunds at home, and a cat that I have hand reared after rescuing from the practice which has been nothing but rewarding! I spend most of my free time walking my dogs with my husband and two children and participating in running events.
